Mamas to be: Prepare and de-stress with our 8 Week Pre/Postnatal Yoga program.

Are you pregnant or a brand new mom and looking to get back into gentle exercise or looking for a way to reduce those growing pains?

Yoga can be a wonderful workout for moms-to-be/news mamas. Our Registered Pre/Postnatal program focuses on easing pains associated with pregnancy, such as sore hips or an aching low back. Pre/Postnatal yoga provides stress relief, exercise, and self-care in one session, and the breathing exercises can come in handy during labor and delivery.

Since this is a practice designed specifically for moms-to-be/new mamas, it excludes poses that might be too taxing or unsafe for the changing body – so you can feel comfortable every step of the way.

Mamas: Make sure you check in with your doctor before beginning a yoga practice, if you are pregnant. If you are postpartum, please get the okay from your doctor that you can do exercise/yoga. (Usually 4-6 weeks postpartum)

Meet your teacher, Natalia!

Natalia was born and raised in Brazil, where her deep connection to her roots inspires every part of her life. Proud of her heritage, she embraces spirituality, moon rituals, and the healing power of sound. She also leads cacao ceremonies and reads tarot cards.

Yoga has been part of her life since 2015, offering a profound connection to her soul. It’s her passion and lifestyle, both on and off the mat, guiding her with every breath. In September 2024, she traveled to India to complete her second yoga certification with 300 hours of training, adding to her 540 hours of teacher training. She also holds an 85-hour certification in prenatal and postnatal yoga.

Living in Canada since 2019, Natalia has built a beautiful life with her husband and son. In her yoga classes, she creates space for students to connect deeply with their inner beauty, working on both their physical bodies and minds. She helps them recognize the beauty they already possess, opening new opportunities and bringing love and joy into their lives—a gift they, in turn, give back to her, filling her heart with love in every class.

When she’s not teaching at True Yoga, you’ll find Natalia in nature, spending time with her family, singing, reading, or diving into new spiritual learnings.
