Yoga Teacher

Rebecca took her first yoga class in Australia in 2001. In that class she discovered a newfound sense of calm and balance in her body she had never experienced before. From there, began a lifelong journey into the practice of yoga.

From a background in competitive figure skating, Rebecca was first inspired by the practice because it challenged her physically, pointing out areas where she was strong but also indicating areas of weakness and imbalance. Over time, old injuries started to heal ~ she found support for her ongoing scoliosis and discovered a newfound sense of strength and balance in her body.

As Rebecca moved into a career in professional acting, her yoga practice became even more foundational. The process of linking breath with movement and the meditation skills she learned helped her become more calm, present and connected while working in the high pressure environment of a film set.

Rebecca is certified and teaches in a wide range of styles ~ including Hatha, Power, Flow, Hot and Yin.  Over the years, she has focused her teaching on Yin Yoga with the incorporation of crystal bowls and other instruments of sacred sound to help create an environment where students can experience deep rest and relaxation. She teaches all levels of students, from all walks of life, and loves bringing the practice of yoga to people for its potential to truly transform lives.
