Yan

Yoga Teacher

Yan discovered yoga in 2015, during a time when she was searching for balance, healing, and a deeper connection to herself. From the first practice, yoga felt like coming home—a place where movement, breath, and compassion meet. Her life journey, shaped by growth, challenge, and healing, has guided her into a deeper relationship with yoga as both a personal practice and a way of supporting others. Yan is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT, 800 hours) and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200 hours) with additional training in Hatha Yoga, Yoga Dance, and both Thai Yoga Massage and Reiki in training.

Yan loves creating space for students to slow down, listen inward, and move with kindness. Her teaching is gentle, grounded, and heart-centered, offering an invitation to reconnect with the body and breath in a way that feels safe and nourishing.

When she’s not teaching, Yan finds joy in simple moments—reading, traveling, camping with her dogs Shaka, Yeti, and Toffee, and cuddling with her cats Sparky and Bluey. She is inspired by animals, nature, and the quiet wisdom found in slowing down. For Yan, yoga is a practice of presence and compassion—a reminder to soften, breathe, and return to the heart.

My Mission:

To guide students back to themselves through mindful movement, breath, and presence. I believe healing begins when we feel safe, supported, and truly seen.
