Angel has been teaching yoga for 3 years. She taught Yoga in Ontario and now is teaching in BC. Yoga has been a huge part of her life, as it helped her heal her gut, stress and anxiety issues. Her lifestyle is busy, as she works at the Hospital as well, but Yoga has helped her gain that equal balance in managing her stress & living a life with purpose.
She is full of passion and it shows how she likes to share this with the community whether in the studio or at the hospital. She is also trained in integrative nutrition education and understands the 4 pillars of health related to emotional, spiritual, mental and physical.
She is proficient in Pranayama practice, Chanting, Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin. She is currently training for Kirtan (kirtan, in its most well-known form, is the call and response singing of a mantra) where she is learning to play the harmonium and the cartels! She enjoys different forms of Yoga and loves sharing and having fun with her students.
She also enjoys reading various spiritual texts and shares them time to time with students who love learning the historical pieces of Yoga and the Spiritual Lessons. Yoga is not just a practice for her, but it is a way of life!
