Restorative Yoga

Intensity:

Find deep relaxation with Restorative Yoga.

Similar to Yin yoga, Restorative yoga is a restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive, gentle stretching.

Suitable for practitioners of all levels, restorative yoga is a restful practice that holds a handful of yoga poses for a longer duration (anywhere from 5-20 minutes) using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind. Through the use of props for support, you can easily melt into postures to release any unwanted tension in the body. The only work that’s required on your part is to pay attention to your breath to help you clear your mind and find stillness on your mat.
