I’ve grown up all my life here in Steveston on the mouth of The Mighty Fraser River. Fascinated by nature, functional movement, and the human body I completed a Degree in Kinesiology along with many hiking/camping adventures. Through University Athletics, I had the privilege to join a Modo Yoga Studio. This provided an opportunity to commit to a consistent asana practice and began to reveal the opportunity to explore the self.
Yoga has transformed from a practice in the classroom to a practice in every moment, action and thought for me. Immersing myself in yogic texts and practices has brought an abundance of clarity, ease and love into my life. I am always reading and have completed various trainings/certifications focused on Breath & Meditation, Kirtan, Trauma Informed Yoga and more. I teach an alignment-based practice that is dynamic, built from the foundation up, breath aware and accessible for students of all levels.
I encourage you to move in the way that serves you best and to honour how your body is feeling in the present moment. I strive to provide a welcoming space where we can come together to establish healthy habits/awareness while feeling comfortable to grow, heal, learn and change.
I look forward to being with you in class!
